Book Review: Momma Don’t You Worry

(Disclaimer: All opinions are mine.)

This is my first ever book review and it’s of a children’s book, which I have many of in my home. 🙂  This is one that I will definitely be adding to my kids’ collection.

Momma Don’t You Worry is written by Louie Lawent.

It’s a quick read, which is great for smaller kiddos.

Don’t let that fool you though….This book gets right to the point and touches on a very relevant topic for us parents.

In this book a not so little 6-year-old boy (in his opinion) is a little tired of his mother constantly reminding him of what he needs to do.  He thinks she’s overprotective until he gets a dose of the real world while out on a shopping trip. I won’t spill the beans…you have to read this book for yourself to see what happens.

I love the message that this book sends….When your parents tell you things, it’s for your own good.  You may not think so at the moment, but more than likely you will find that what the have told you and taught you will benefit you one day.

This is a great book that can be read over and over to remind your little ones that they should always listen to and remember what you say.

“Momma Don’t You Worry” can be purchased in the Kindle version for $1.29 at AMAZON.
